HEAT Ltd has
been awarded the CORGI Installer of the Year for Northern Ireland Award. The award
which was sponsored by Phoenix Natural Gas was presented to Service Manager Colin
Duncan at a gala event held in the RICOH Centre, home to football team Coventry
City.
The event was attended by over 700 representatives of the UK gas industry,
including installations and servicing providers, product suppliers and
manufacturers; Dara O'Braian the well known Irish comedian compeered the
proceedings.
Nick Beckett, HEAT's Technical Director attended the event with Colin Duncan;
he commented: "It was a hugely enjoyable evening augmented by that fact that
HEAT is now clearly raising its profile receiving recognition in a national
context. We are delighted to have been awarded this accolade by such an
important body as CORGI that provides an invaluable service maintaining the
highest standards of safety both for consumers and those working in the gas
installations industry."
Colin Duncan had this to say: "HEAT were delighted to be nominated as NI
Installer of the Year award and see the award as recognition of the high standard
of gas work carried out by the company. Excellence is a company core value and
