At the prestigious awards ceremony held in the Battersea Park Events Arena on
Thursday 1st March, Belfast based HEAT Ltd emerged triumphant as it achieved 10th
ranking in the annual Sunday Times 100 Best UK Companies to work for. This is the
second consecutive year that HEAT has enjoyed success in the Sunday Times Award,
having been voted into 31st position in 2006.
HEAT, an Eaga company, specialises in the design, installation and maintenance
of domestic heating systems in the social housing market and the company is widely
regarded as being amongst the best in the United Kingdom. Recent testaments to
this are the number of awards that HEAT has collected in 2006, including Belfast
Telegraph Business of the Year and CORGI Northern Ireland Installer of the Year.
HEAT Managing Director Bill McCandless commented: “The well being of staff is
of paramount importance at HEAT and we strive to ensure that our people are given
every opportunity for personal development in their work. It is equally important
to recognise the consistently great efforts our people make to put the company at
the forefront of the industry sector. We are really delighted that HEAT staff
deems the company a suitably rewarding place to work that they have scored us
this highly in the 100 Best Companies 2007.”
