HEAT Ltd has been awarded the People Development Award by Belfast City Centre Management. The award which was sponsored by Multi-Corporation was presented at a gala event held at the Belfast Waterfront Hall on 13 November 2008.

The event was attended by local businesses in Belfast and highlighted the exceptional standards set by today’s businesses and recognised those that were the ‘Best in Belfast’. 

HEAT were recognised for their current Apprentice training programme and demonstrated that the company provides a positive impact on the performance of the business and that of the people they employ and continually develop.

The evening was sponsored by several major industries along with the Department of Social Development who all attended the gala dinner to celebrate the success of the local business community.

HEAT have proved that they do make a difference to the employees, particularly through the Apprentice Programme as John Morgan, Resource & Communications Director states, “helping develop young people and providing them with training for the world of work and in particular within our industry is rewarding and we have shown improvements year on year and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
