PDP's
We want to ensure our staff reach their full
potential and we constantly strive to make
this a reality.
Each employee has a Personal Development Plan
and this is reviewed bi annually with his/her
line manager. It's not just a matter of reviewing
performance but is primarily aimed at identifying
training needs and desires; we also support
the outside interests of our staff by offering
to meet 50% of the costs of courses they may
wish to pursue that are not directly related
to their everyday work.
By keeping in close touch with our staff's
personal development, we aim to ensure that
the individuals that make up the HEAT team
are engaged and satisfied by what they do
in the workplace.
The success
of this approach was recently measured by
the participation of our staff in the Sunday
Times 100 Best Companies Questionnaire. As
a result of their responses, HEAT took 10th
place in the ratings - one of the Top 100
Companies in which to work in the UK. |
